Hello all,

I did some routing and flattened the cables for creating the drawing.

then now i need to change the routing for ease of assembling !!.

So i did re-routed it.

But, what i am having is "the failed flattened view".

& i cant able to do anything to get the view back.

Any help guys.. ??..

Whenever I reroute or change the harness I open up the .mfg and do a regen. If anything fails during opening the flat or regen I delete it and re-flatten that area and re-attach components. I haven't found any way of resolving flattened harness failures and re-flattening doesn't take too long. Of course you still have to update any drawings using the flats.
Thanks,
jef

the MFG flatten workflow requires a bit of tweaking. I think the development team could make the whole MFG workflow more forgiving. I have many ideas on how it could be made better / easier / more forgiving but gave up. And if you know me I don't give up easily.
