Hi all,

I have a problem with flange wall "I" profile.
I have been searching for some info that would help me understand why ProE change the lenght first wall. Everything depend form the wall angle. You can see on the first screen that the firs wall lenght i lesser. On the second is the same, but on the trird i longer.

thanks in advance
michal

Your pics show a Flat Wall.

Normally the wall planar faces intersect at the Attachment Edge.
In the pics it looks like the edge on the 'outside' first wall face is
being used as the intersection reference. I'm not sure how one can get
things in that condition but the missing preview edge in the third
(30 degree) pic makes me think something's simply gone (?) bonkers.

deedub77,

Don't believe everything you read here. Most of us don't know
anything and the rest of us will send you in the wrong direction
just for the fun of it.

The Offset option "Add to Part Edge" is not in WF2. It may not be in WF3.
You ~can~ create an Unattached Extruded Wall and Merge Walls to get the
same(?) effect, if that's any help.

Jeff,

Interesting point. There was me believing this is wheregurus hang out

.

My current technique (WF3) is to create a flat wall with zero bend rad, then another wall with the angle from that. I guess I'll have to give the unattached wall / merge idea a go though.
