Feeding a Repeat Region Item Num to Parts

I have an assembly drawing with a simple BOM that uses repeat region to list the item number, part number etc. The BOM ballons are generated automatically.


Is there some way I could set it up, so that the parts know what their item number on the assembly drawing is?


It would make the drawings easier/faster to read, but to do it manually is a fair amount of work since they are many parts...and more importantly prone to error.

You may be able to create a numerical COMPONENT parameter in assembly mode that in effect defines the item number and use table relations to force the item number to be equal to this parameter
