export to dxf

I am having a brain fart right now. How doI export a model to DXF in WF4??

DXF is for drawings....right? "save as"- " dxf"


(i do think you can save dxf as 3d , but... dont know how it works, and not sure how to do it in on a part in pro/E)

I realized that what i was looking for was an IGS file. Dxf as you said is 2D.

from a part it is a little tricky. You have to export as iges and convert to dxf. You can btw have a 3d dxf file of just curves but its rare.
