Hello,
The company I work for has resently started usingPro/E I have noticed that there is a shortcut in the File > Openwindow. The shortcut is a link to the hardware folder. I understand thatthis shortcut has been setup usingStart>Control Panel>System>Advanced>Environment Variables and added a variable called 'pro_library_dir'. The hardware folder has now been reorganized and the links are missing within the shortcut. How can I fix this?

Try typing "dir" in the <find option> in the tools --> options menu. You will get a list of all the external (both file manager, intralink and windchill) folders you can set.


Most common are:


pro_library_dir, pro_format_dir, start_model_dir





So you don't need to modify your environment variables.......
