Edit note Value

New member
Hi,

Suddenly I can not edit the value of the note in a drawing.
(ie: select the note - right click -edit value) The edit value commend is not available even in the edit menu it's greyed-out.
Any Idea on how to get this commande again?
It's long winded to have to goback to the 3d model anytime I want to edit a note.

Thanks For you help

Nicolas

Try to query select for the correct note.
Maybe It can be that you are selecting the wrong note.

nicolas - do you have the part set to the current model in your drawing. If you have multiple parts you have to have that part set as current to modify the note.

Hi Guy's here is a picture,

Unfortunately this is a single part drawing

The 9.000 is a parameter made in a relation.

I also know that you can add [.0] after the parameter to remove any decimal.

I'd like a config.pro line where I don't have to do it for every parameter.

Hey
<?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" />
Below you can see a drawing of a block with three notes
(A) Is a simple dimension.
(B) is relation given in sketcher itself
<?:namespace prefix = v ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:vml" /></v:stroke></v:f></v:f></v:f></v:f></v:f></v:f></v:f></v:f></v:f></v:f></v:f></v:f></v:ulas></v:path><o:lock aspectratio="t" v:ext="edit"></o:lock></v:shape>

(C) is the dimension derived from parameter.

Now if I give these dimensions as notes in drawing.

And try to edit (A) it
