.DXF FILE

Hi: I seem to have been able to solve part of my previously posted problem and I now have the .OBJ file imported into autocad as a .DXF file. It has all the info on the surface of the part as it is a few megabytes in size. Now is it posible to create the solid part from this file directly in pro engineer without having to redraw the entire part. It is quite a curvaceous item and our modeling skills are in its infancy at my school! Anyone that can help will be greatly appreciated as we still need to make an actual model of it!

thanks in advance!!!

You need to use the heal geometry > zip gaps (manually or automatic) to stitch all the surfaces and then and only then it can be converted to a solid part.
