dimension changes

I have a vendor who wants some print changes his company likes to see dimensions as limits but they also like boxes around them


in pro it will let me switch to that but i can only get the oval "inspection" to come on not the box "basic" anyone know of a work around for this besides over writing the dimensions?


Iover wrote the .099/.101 dim but I dont want to do that

Change the text to @[@D@]. However, you should educate your customer that this is not a valid dimension.

i tired that and dint work


i should have mentioned that this is a shown dimension


but i tried it with created an no go either


my steps are add the dim


convert it to limit


check the basic dial button


when that happens it takes the limit away and converts it back to nominal


my work around is

It switches back to nominal becausea basic dim is supposed to be linked toa g-tol and doesnt have its own tolerance.
