datum axis

New member
Hi all, I know that it is possible to show a (planar) datumsymbol multiple times in a drawing.

If the datum is an axis, is it still possible to show it multiple times?

If so how please?

Many thanks.

PS sorry to post in modelling!

Hi Jbuckl,

would you please elaborate a little bit by providing some pics of what you really want?

no pics yet!....

axis datum shown on a diameter dimension.

on another sheet, i wish to show the same datum... in a different (projection) view, but its already shown.

how can I show it again?

Hi Jbuckl,

In the pictures shown below,

I did the following to create the datum axis shown at the last pic,

First, I drew a normal circle

Second, I used the datum axis tool to specify two references which are the front plan and the top plan where you choose the first one and then choose the second one while pushing the ctrl button down.

Third,in the last pic you have the circle and the datum axis at the middle which you can see from every view,

Regards
