Hello all,
I'm new to this forum, so hopefully i did not post this question in the wrong subfora.
I'm using solidworks 2008 sp0
The problem is:
Ive drawn a frame with "custom made structural member".WhenI auto generate the cut-list in my 2d drawing the lengths of the beams dont match the real lenghts.
I know what is causing this: When I use structural member and use corner treatment solidwork doesn't use the most outer diameter. But it uses the inner diameter.
I've added a image of the problem, as in this example the cut list should be 1 part of 100mm and 1 part of 80mm
BUT, the auto generated cut list makes it 1part of 100mm and 1 of 94 mm
When i use the trim/extend function i can make it right, but this is a lot of work for a frame of more then 30 parts.
Is their a way to compensate this? Like setting an outer perrimitter?
Greetings and thanks in advance.
