Copying features between parts

I've made a feature on a flat surface of a part by doing an extrusion, and then further extrusions subtracting material from it.

Is there a way i can copy this feature and paste it onto a flatsurface on a different part?

Thanks for any ideas :)

Highlight the features in your modeltree and "copy/paste" . as easy as that... (make sure the features are in order in your modeltree, you might want to create a group first, but thats not necessary)

Or create an UDF.

Tobbo is right.

If all the parts are in the same assembly and are mating parts etc. you can either cut/paste the features themselves or make a surface copy of the features in the first model, activate the second model in the assembly and copy and paste the features from the first model. Then just solidify, or whatever you need to do with them.

If you wishing to reference across multiple assemblies make a UDF (user defined feature).

You dont need to have an .asm to copy features.
