I have a structure that I have modeled as a weldment (sw 2007). It is made entirely of round tubing. The tubing meets at variouse angles and must be coped to fit.
I want to take the coped tube, unwrap it, and print a 1 to 1 template to wrap around the tube and mark the cut.
Short of re-modelling every coped tube as a sheetmetal part I can't think of how to do this. Does anybody have any other ideas? I've stumped the tech support at Hawk Ridge systems.
