Centre lines for on PCD

Hi all,

Can someone advise on how to add centre lines so that I can dimensionthe outer most holes ? I would like a centre line to come from the central axis of the component to each of the 4 holes. (As shown in green pen). Then I can add angular dims to these new centre lines.

When I try to add dimension with the show/erase dialog box, nothing happens !! These 4 holes are not patterned, they are indivudually added 10 deg above and below the central X axis on a RAD of 22.

Thanks HB (WF2)

Hi HB

The center lines are showing already. All you have to do is mod attach, and click on the center line that is in the center of your part, and do that for each of the holes. This will only work if you have no created dims attached to them prior to doing this. This is for 2001, but I imagine it will be something similar in wildfire.

Thanks guy's, looks good.

To get this menu in WF2, just select the center line then, RMBand select edit attachment.

How about getting a circular center line to go through the center of the 4 holes.

Thanks HB
