my problem is that i cannot select/edit or do anything to the datum curve i've created(while in sketcher mode).....i am trying to create a tooth profile for spur gear....i drew all the circles and used datum curve by equation to generate the involute curve, but i cannot seem to trim the unwanted part that lies outside the OD of the gear. Earlier i was able to create a tooth successfully when i was not working on sketcher mode.....all the circles where generated using datum curve feature....everything went fine then.....but now i am trying to implement the helical sweep feature which forces me to sketch the tooth profile in sketcher mode.
is there a way to edit datum curves in sketcher mode ?
