CAD traslation between different CAD

Many of us dealing with multi CAD data are facing problem of data loss, i.e, when we try to open file made in CATIA/PROE/UG or any other CAD software in our native CAD software, usually few surfaces are missing, surface gets wrinkled, or sometimes the file doesn't open up only.
Guys can you please suggest any solution !!! till now I have found out CADdoctor software from ELYSIUM to be good enough, is there any other solution too ??
