Axes are missing in drawing

Dutrieux

New member
Hi all,

I've got a simple problem in the drawing mode of pro/E.
When i click on the "show/erase axes" command, nothing
happens, none of my axes are displaying. Which is not the
case with the plane, point, and other datum...
Does anybody have a solution or suggestion?

Note: i am using WF4.0

Thanks

Thank for your response dr_gallup,

I already checked my drawing layers and all those layers
should appear on the screen when i use the "show/erase"
command... But it's not the case.. Any other solution?

Thank you for your response but i checked it before even
think about post on mcad... The axes are diplayed in the
modeling module as well as planes and references datum.
It's just in the drawing module that the axes are not
shown... But they do exist and there are suitable views to
represent them...

I am with dakeb1. I suspect your view is not perfectly perpendictular to the direction of the axis. Create a new view and try to show the axis.

What is the selection you have in the show by section? Have you tried show all? On the option tab at the bottom is never shown selected?

If any of the axes you are trying to display are in a skeleton file, select the view, go to properties/View Display/Show Skeletonmodel display.

I created a new part and make a new drawing and it's the
same, no axes. I checked if the skeleton model was hidden
(we are not using skeleton model so i was quite septic),
but it was not the case. I have no section view in my
drawing no more.

I suspected the computer, because i checked with WF3.0
(which is aslo installed on the computer) and there were
aslo no axis...
I'm fed up cause i'm not able to doing detail drawing...
Is it possible that the software is bugging? I sure that
my model is correct and axes should be drawn..

I made a simple plate with a hole. I include the part and
the drawing. <a target="_blank" href="uploads/Dutrieux/2010-10-
