Well can you give us additional information about your assembly?, this way we don't know anything about your assembly, about your computer, and therefore we can't help you much...
But I assume you have big asm, and very slow computer. Only thing you can do si to create Simplified representation of assembly, this way you can exclude components from asm, and when you are opening asm, those excluded component aren't loaded into memory.
See if you have set this config.pro option so you can choose the type of simplified report you open when you select an assembly.

a dialogue box should pop up when you open an assembly and you can choose the various saved assemblies. This way you can use a saved option as suggested above, or choose the existing options and open your assembly faster. Once you have it open then you can switch to master report, or whatever others you have.
