3D studio to ProE

I've received files from a 3D studio user and want to open them in ProE.

The files have the following extension.
.max
.wrl
.ase

Is there a way to get them in?
Has 3D studio got other options to export to such as step/iges/parasolid?

Or is there any software that can do the conversion for me?

PolyTrans from Okino can do the translation (dead geometry though)


I use it to transfer Pro/E to TrueSpace but it handles 3D Studio as well

We also use Polytrans from ProE to 3dMax to make render..


Very usefull and easy to use.
