working directory

Since I converted to WF3, I am having problems containing files to the working directory.

With 2001 and older, no matter which directory I pulled another file or browsed, it would keep all the new files contained to the working directory.

In WF3, if I create a new file, it would just place the new file in directory I browed last. Why doesn't it go straight to the set working directory?

Thanks for your help.

More info:

Pro|E still has a working directory which operates in the same way. What has changed is the default behavior when you hit save ona new part or click file -> open. By default (This goes back to at least WF2, maybe WF1) it shows you the last location browsed to. I think this was done for consistency to other windows programs which work this way.

Changing that config option above puts it back the way it was.

When you first save hit the working directory icon which looks like a Folder with the Blue Star near the top right. This allows you to save to the working directory but still keep the directory you may be opening files from as the open directory.

It depends on if you prefer a single click or setting a config option.
