Window-roughing and finishing

I am having problems getting window machining to read the geometry. The tool just keeps going into the part past the surface, that is when i set the depth of the window. If i dont set the depth, window machining wont even work is there a parameter i am missing or asetting.And i cant even get roughing or finishing to generate a tool path. If there is anybody that can help me it would be greatly appreciated.
