What should I use to make this lip

Hi everyone,


Using Pro/Sheetmetal, I modeled the part shown below. But for the component shown in the red circle (Kind of a lip), I don't really know what tool should I use to get it ?


I used create flange wall and create flat wall to get it done. But I know there must be a smarterway to do it (something like thin cut and bend or die and punch)?


I would highly appreciate it if you know anyway to do it?

Hi Hazem,


You canproduce the shape using a punch tool. I've shown a pic below of the form tool and higlighted the surfaces you should exclude in bronze colour.


The next 2 pics show the sheet metal with the punched shape.
