what is the difference?

What is the difference between "dxf_out_drawing_scale" and "dxf_out_scale_views"? I made these combinations in config file:

1.
dxf_out_drawing_scale no
dxf_out_scale_views no

2.
dxf_out_drawing_scale yes
dxf_out_scale_views no

3.
dxf_out_drawing_scale no
dxf_out_scale_views yes

4.
dxf_out_drawing_scale yes
dxf_out_scale_views yes

If anybody knows the difference between these two options please reply.
Thanks in advance.

Not having investigated it, I expect it's all to do with how the DXF data structures are numerically scaled.

For instance a drawing view could be scaled while all the geometery contained is full scale.

I.E. 100" long geometry in a view scaled 1/10 VS. 100" geometry scaled down to 10" and the view scale converted to 1.0.

Both would plot the same but the geometry would be defined as either 100" or 10", and would measure differently when imported to another piece of software.

Each of the 4 combinations would yield similar but different types of results.
