What is the difference between proe 5.0 a

The functionality is the same. The product is only renamed, but it means version returened by ProToolkit is "5.0" not "Wildfire 5.0", the Windows registry are different and the installation file structure is different... We had to rewrite all our installators and slightly change applications for Wildfire 5.0. Grrr...

Creo Elements/Pro= Wildfire 5

The Pro/Engineer name is now dead. Creo 1.0 (no 'Elements') is next, coming out in June, and is supposed to combine Pro/E and CoCreate into a common data model. The Parametric and Direct apps, however, will still be licensed separately.

the direct app doesn't have anything to do with cocreate i believe, its build from the ground up using granite kernel.

As per understanding...

Once upon a time there lived a man called John Smith (Pro/Engineer). He got married to Jane Sawyer(Co-create)and he decided to call himself as Jo(hn)(Ja)ne Smith (Creo-Elements/Pro) and Jane on the other hand became Jane Smith (Creo-Elements / Direct).

Jane has conceived a baby and they have decided to name it John Smith Jr. (CREO 1.0). John Smith Jr. is yet to be Born....
