want machining 5 axis simultaneous

Dear Fisa,

First of all, something has to be clear before starting the job. Although, you wrote 5-axis on the title, I want to be sure about that. What rotary attacment are we talking about? Just a 4th-axis, possibly A-Axis system or a complete two rotary axes system attached that allows us to do 5-axis indexed or simultaneous cuts.

The second question, which sections will be cut by milling. AsI can see, I think you will first cut the back side inner and outer diameter on a lathe, then you will mount the part to your milling machine. Are you planning to the remaining whole part in one setup? Then you need a 5-axis construction, of course.Otherwise, you need to use more than one setup to machine the angular hole on the front side.

Wecan give you any help, including machining assistance and postprocessor development specific to your machine.

If you are interested, please send me an email.

Best Regards,

Dear Asif

I would like to make some correction, Dahlih has never made the machine model mv270, it will definitly beMCV 720, secondally you have not mentiond what controller do you have ?

Finally this is the not the job of 5-axis simultaneous machining, it only require3+1 axis. If you want to learn about simultaneous 5-axis machinig, you must sent the relevant job.

For the currentjob, let me know about your controller, i will send you the program for this simple part you have attached. Please befor going to multiaxis machinig you must set the offset of your machine carefully in your controller, otherwise it can go under a dangrous accident.

thanks
