What is volume milling?


What we could do with sequence? what we should not do to avoid frustrations? I haveonemethods which has been used successfully to remove mass material out from WP one sequence to do rough and semi finish...

Essentially the volume is NOT the amount of material you want to remove, but the space where the tool is allowed to perform milling in.


In most cases it is used as a fast way to create a roughing toolpath.
In some circumstances it can also be used for finishing.


I use volume milling (both as a real "solid" volume and as window milling) a lot.
