UG to Catia V4 Translation

Which is the best way to translate a UG model to Catia model file.This can be done using UG to CatiaV4 Translator in NX2,but the problem is that we don't have the license for this translator.


I normally do it by exporting the ug model as step file and open it in Proe and then using the Proe to Catia translator i translate.But in this process there is data loss and lots of twisted surfaces are seen in catia.
