WE sometimes like to start design in adobe ill. because we don't have to worry about relations for quick design changes. Then we convert the .ai files to .dxf files and import into solidworks for final fitting and assembly. The problem we are having is when the sketches come into solidworks using this method the holes cannot be used for mating because they appear to have been changed to 4 splines this will not allow for the "mate concentric" option to be used. Even strait lines appear to be changed into a spline. This means that you would have to redo all of the work that was done in .ai.
I'm wondering if you might have a quick fix for this problem.
