Having major trouble with unigraphics translations coming in anywhere near clean.

Are there any settings that I can have them set on their end to have the translations come in good? We have tried iges, step, neutral, and parasolid . None of which come in close to clean.

I have never had good luck with any format from Unigraphics or Solidworks going into ProEngineer..........

I have used a neutral format in a split before, but don't make any changes to the model.....

Good luck dude.

Major as in major or MAJOR?

Kinda makes you wonder how the real guys do it, huh?

STEP #1: Make sure the source operator knows what they're doing.

MAJOR

and just the mud scraped off.

I have worked five days and still am not close to a solid that will work.

The model came out of Detroit that is all I know the contact I had has not returned emails for ceveral weeks. I am not sure it would not be faster to create my own look alike part and mold it.
