Toolkit application exits

Hi all,


In my company, we have a toolkit application(.dll) stored in a server location(in Unix).


It works only if I launch proE(WF4) withoutIntralink Login- we use Ilink 3.4.


The intralink login & password should be provided after Pro E launches, in a seperate window that prompts.


If I login to intralink, then launch proe, the application starts in the Tools->auxillary applications, but when I call the application in Menu, it starts, some command window comes, then proE exits..


In STD.out, the message is "error code was -1073741819".

Without knowing the purpose of the Pro/TOOLKIT application it is extremely difficult to debug your problem. The error code is meaningless to me as well. However, I do think that your problem has something to do with the current working directory being different when you first launch Pro versus Intralink.

When I launch Pro/E after logging in to intralink..


Launch ProE-> workspace-> <workspace name> (After login to intralink)


the current working directory must be same as when I launch


Launch ProE->workspace-> <workspace name> (Without login to intralink)

Inform this issue to your service provider.

However you can check this,
Change the working directory to the location where the protk.dat file exists and try to
register the application.
