How can I stamp a drawing?I know Pro/E can do it I've seen it at various manufactuers.

ouch... I should have made it a poll to the forum then. I should have preficed that I was showing off to this major manufacturer how helpfull mcadcentral is. I guess I was wrong in showing them this resource.

When there are three separate versions of the same rev drawing I simply want a time stamp so I (or the team) knows the lastest version.

The intralink way is for people with intralink (and the company I am at helping happens to have intralink) However I thought about intralnk but this is for markups. They don't submit to intralink each time.
We need a time and date stamp on drawing when it was worked on last not when the drawing was submitted to intralink.

PDF sent to printer time and date stamp is not the way to do it either.

Maybe there is a script to make that work for when user creates PDF.

the automated options might be:

when you open it.
when you close it.
When you print it.
when you enter into intralink.

What do most do?
