System requirements

I have Pro-E 5 wildfire installed on a Dell T1500 workstation that I upgraded to the followingplatform Windows 7 64 Bit with the NVIDIA Quadro FX580 video card 4.0GB RAM with Quad core 2.66MHz processor. Will this run OK for an educational environment. or should I just start over and purchase a new system.

Thats probably OK for general ProE and Mechanica work -
maybe some more RAM for bigger jobs.

Go Core i7 for a new machine.

Since the i5 and i7 sit in the same type socket are they interchangeable?

I Think it will works on ur PC, Coz I am Running Pro E wildfire 4.0 on My old machine which is Pentium 4!!!!! hahaha
