Symbol Library Lost

We just had someone install Solidworks 2008 which replaced our 2007 version. Everything seems to be working except symbols on my old version drawings. The promp says it cannot find the symbol library. For example, when I try to put a diameter symbol, in the dimension text dialog box it shows <mod-diam> but this also shows up on the print. When I click the "more" button, it says the parmeter is incorrect. Our company did not renew the liscence agreement so I can't call Solidworks on this. Can anyone help me resolve this issue. I would really appreciate it.

Go to tools, option, file locations and make sure everything is referencing the new 2008 folders

Copy gtol.sym file from original installation CD over the file in your SW installation
