hi

i want to know how to constructa surface thru sketched curves.i want the exact procedure to it.

thanks in advance.

How you do it might be dictated by what you want the surface to look like transitioning between the defining curves. First guess is you want a Boundary Blend. Read Help, find tutorials.

You can use Feature > Create > Surface > New > Advanced > Boundaries.

I think that was the path (but I'm not sure, don't have 2001 version in front of me).

Ok here is how u can create the surface using diffrent method to begin go to feature<create<surface<advance<boundaries ok after this u would get an option like blended surface, conic surface and n-sided surface. Blended surface is created when u have max 4 curves attach to each other and conic surface is created when u have 2 curves independent and guide curve which acts as shoulder curve or tangent curve and last N-sided curve is the one in which u must have max of 5 curves i hope u have got it if possible i would send u the surfacing tutorials for 2001 just mail me n give me ur mail id at [email protected]

bye

Here is an example of how I created a car hood.
