Surface modeling using curves

Hello,


I am trying to model a helmet which is not symmetrical using curves thru surface modeling. I have Top Front & Side views as sketches. I am trying to combine the curves in the three views to geta region so that I can join them to form 1 half of the helmet. An example is there in the PTC surface modelling guide. But I am not able to get the three curves to form a closed region.


Can anyone give some tips for solving this.

if you need to make a complex part youneed to go a bit further then the3default views


I attach a part a spent 60sec on it might get you in the right direction
