Square/Rectangular Tubing

LaserJunctionPE

New member
Hi All,

This is a rather interesting problem (as always). We have laser tube cutter and as such cut some pretty wierd things out of tubing. I have been having a problem with flattening out tubing with a large radius(eg 100mm)in one corner (our server wont let me upload pictures

). I can flatten the tube with out a problem if all the corners are the same radius after having converted it from solidmodelingbut when I have to put a large radius in it fails. I have found a way around in making the tube out of flat walls but this is very time consuming and tiresome (not to mention if you make a mistake it is difficult to see). I have tryed to convert it from solid with the radii that I need and then create the cuts that SHOULD allow it to flatten butwith no luck.

If anyone could give me some advise it would be much appresiated.
Regards,
T
