Spaceball Q’s

I didn't want to hijack bigbang63's thread so I'll ask my questions here.


Does the Spaceball work in other programs? Or does it turn off outside of CAD likea joystick turns off when your outside of a game?


If it does work outside of ProE can you program the buttonsto work differently in other programs? Or is button 2 always Ctrl?

Thanks James for the listing.


So then the spaceball might work with other programs not listed? Since Huug can get it to work a web browser.


I just might have to try it with Freespace... Perhaps an RTS or two as well.

In short: The spaceball works with all major 3D applications.
And in windows aplications (IE, Word, Excell) it works as a scrollwheel (both left-right en up-down) and zooms too!
