Solid Work to 3dStudio

Somebody can tell me how is the better way to export files from solid work to 3d studio?. I tried it save the files how iges in solid work but then in 3dstudio the part look like glass and if i export to 3dstudio save how vrml then in 3dstudio changes the size of my part...
