Shown Ordinate dimensions

Can some one kick start me down the right path on this one. I am a big supporter of shown dimensions and have switched companies and their use justifies ordinate dimensions.

I havent spent much time on it, but it will come up again soon.

Yes, at least 95% of your dimensions should be shown dims rather than created dims.



To get ordinate dims, either:



1. On the Show Erase dialog box, click the Switch to Ordinate option. You will have to either create or designate a baseline.



2. Use Edit > Linear to Ordinate to change dimensions already on your drawing.
