Showing cut out material in drawing

I used the extrusion option in wildfire 4 to remove material from a part. Is there a way to phantom the removed material in the drawing so that i do not have to use the sketch tool to indicate where the material was?

You can suppress yourcut, create draft lines from the edges, resume the cut and change the draft lines line type to phantom.

Another option would be to copy the edges of the model prior to the cut. These curves could then be set to phantom style and placed on a layer to be shown or not.
