I AM WORKING IN PROE WILDFIRE2 .CAN ANY ONE HELP ME HOW TO CALCULATE THE VOLUME OF COOLANT IN THE COOLANT TANK ASSY.THE COOLANT TANK IS MADE OF SHEETMETAL USING UNATTACHED WALL.

hmmmmm.

1. you may try this method (assuming you have NOT shelled a solid to model the tank): select the inside surfaces of the tank, copy and paste it as a quilt. convert this quilt into a solid. Measure the volume of the solid.

2. If you have shelled a solid to get your geometry, insert a measure feature before shelling, to measure the volume. This gives the solid volume say (V1).

insert another measure feature after shelling. This would give you the volume of your model. (say V2).

Your liquid volume = V1-V2.
