Settting the mass of a model

Hi out there !!


I need some help !!


In 2001 it was possible to force the mass by relation and
enetering the measured mass as an parameter:
eg.
MP_DENSITY=MESURED_MASS/MP_VOLUME("")
MASS=MP_DENISTY*MP_VOLUME


BUT now I can't reproduce this in Wildfire, I've tried with the new prefixes "PRO"
and you probably now the answears.......
I open a old model from 2001 and there it was possible SO I DON`T have an clu !?

Sometines you just gets really upset with PTC...
This issue was solved by SW in topic [url]http://www.mcadcentral.com/proe/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=26 373&PN=4[/url]


So with:
MASS=(MEASURED_WEIGHT/PRO_MP_VOLUME)*PRO_MP_VOLUME


Will solve my problem BUT I DON'T LIKE THIS !!

If you go to the parameters, there is a drop-down box at the bottom with main in it. You have the options Alternate Mass Properties and Reported Mas properties. In the Reported Mass Properties, the first parameter is PRO_MP_MASS.
