rounds on patterns

i made the following model while playing with patterning patterns on patterns...

anyways, i have setup the relations to automatically respace the patterns when i modify the number of entities. i have yet to figure out how to make the rounds automatically update since they are actually created on edges where the patterned features intersect each other (see below).

any ideas? would this require pro/programming (haven't touched this at all yet, though i'm sure i should learn it)? thanks.

Off the top of my head, have you tried creating rounds using Intent Surfaces (or whatever the intent option is for rounds)? It's pretty neat.
