Hello, i am having problems to patternin rotational features in proe 2001 I introduce the angle as the increment direction. and when i regenerate I get the same feature varios times over the original( in the same place. I guess I have to create datum plane. But also for some reason when I try to insert an angular datum plane I just does not happen. Can anyone help me with this?

Thanx I really need to get this done.

u have to pic the right references

though axis, ( then u can pick a angle) then pick a plane... to which u can get a angle from.

When you create the feature that you want to pattern, The golden rule
is to reference ONLY the require reference to enable you to create this
feature. DO NOT REFERENCE THE DEFAULT DATUMS.

Create a axis to define your rotaional point. Create a datum plane
through this axis and at an agle to a plane. You can add another plane
that goes through the axis and normal to your angled plane, for a
second reference. Now you can create this feature and make sure that
you only reference these two planes for dimensioning.
