Reverting to an old revision in Intralink

Hello all,

I am trying to revert a draing to an old revision state while still preserving the current revision in Intralink 3.3.

for example, a part currently at Rev. T, needs to be reverted to the state that it was in at Rev. S. If I check out the part at Rev. S and then bump the Rev. to U, the workspace Compare Status still shows "Out of Date" and will not allow me to check the part in, and cannot be overridden.

I'm sure I'm missing another way to do this better, or maybe I just need to make changes manually to Rev.U which is based on Rev. T, but right now I'm drawing a blank.

Thanks for any help!

Try this.

1. Check out Rev. S part and open it in ProE.
2. While keeping Rev. S in ProE, checkout Rev. T into same workspace.
3. Go back to ProE, change something and save (open relations, add a space in a line to trigger a change)
4. Now if you go back to Workspace, it should say Rev. T modified.

Good luck,

Charles
