Rerouting Datums

Lazar

New member
Hey guys,

Here is a question thatI have yet to figure out. I have a feature that was created on a "Datum-on-the-fly" (done by offsetting a specific distance from another datum) that I want to reroute to a datum that existed prior to the creation of the feature.

When I edit the reference, I still have the offset dimension from when the feature was originally created. Is there a way to get rid of this dimension? Right now, I set it to zero after the reroute, but I want the feature tied directly to the datum, without having to worry about the offset dimension.

Any help would be appreciated

When you reroute that feature you can't get rid of that dimension anymore.

However,.... when you redefine it and you change that
"Datum-on-the-fly" to a new reference, let say a prior datum plane, it
will be gone.

Regards,

Filip
