Repeat Region

AlbertHE

New member
I'm looking for to obtain in a repeat region a tre structure like in the image.

I only can enter the paramenters of "prt.index" and "rpt.level" but I'd like to obtain a tree structure in the way of 1.1, 1.2, 1.2.1, 1.2.2 like in MS Word for example.

Do anybody something about it? Is it possible inside Pro-E? Maaybe outside in another software program?

Thanks

IS POSSIBLE

II WILL CREATE A REPEAT REGION EXACTLY LIKE THAT YOU SHOW IN SCREEN SHOT

Did you worked with repeat region untill now?

YOU HAVE AN e MAIL ADRESS,?

Cristelino

Sirs,

I created this sample in MS Excel, but I'd like to create in Pro-E. It the reason of this first post.

I work with repeat region but I'd like to sincronize my Pro-E with a MS-Excel in order to use this data in outside Pro-E.

And only a doubt: Cristelino,if you have this aplication can you send me?

If i corectly understood is that

Becarefull you must create manually a parameters like in example for every part

Abbout sincronisation with Excel is a little dfficult........

But there are some sources by Internet and you can found

Please don"t use the format because is private

Save the drawings in your local machine

When you try to do new drawing use option to "copy from another drawing"" only the table

Will have all properties like in example

Anyway check the mail

Hi Cristelino,

It's Ok for me, it's a half solution because we use the same parts and assembliesin many levels of the general assembly, but I could solution this using a component parameter, yes it's true.

I was triying to find a general solution for always, not "married" withparameters, because in fact, the parameters are governed by the person. I was finding a solution goberned by pc, using automatic parameters as rpt.level or rpt.index. I'd like to add another "automatic" column not goberned by a parameter in the models.

If anybody this "automatic" solution, please tell me how is, because I have used 3 months thinking in it.

And Cristelino, thanks for you quickly solution.

I have some scripts writed by myself in the past when i was working for a big company

If you have some patience i can send you but let me some days ok?

Are thousand cd where i must search
smiley19.gif

yes: i understand now exactly what you want. The most important for you are the level and Tree structure isn t?

Is some specific programs we must write

Cristelino

Yes,

it's true. I want an "automatic" solution, not dependent of the position where is the component and not dependent if the component is in the assembly or not, or assembly "number one" or assembly "number two".

Ok, I can wait that you find the cd. Don't worry, I have months of thinking about it, I can wait.

Thank you very much,

Sorry but my english is really bad. If you prefer a message in spanish is beter for me.

cristelino,

Thank you very much for sending me the repeat region table. Was just curious if one can write a program to automatically create part drawings of an assembly.

I tried my best but could not achieve the result.

If PTC share the information i need ;because the ptc programers KNOW where is the link between parts an drawings
Is necesary to create a new comand and link part with drawing
For me is courious why ptc dont think abbout already ?
Is possible that option already exist and we don t know??
I whish to create the parameters in Prt mode and those parameters drive the future drawing(format ;ISO standard wiew;3d dimension etc)
PTC is not open source and that s pity because manny person can help with personal contribution
Anyway self generate drawing is very good ideea
