reference_bom_balloon_text

where do i go to change this setting. i want to see if i can remove the ref text so the balloon looks like a regular bom balloon. also on ref balloons will the numbers update if there are any changes to the bom?

In the drawing options remove DEFAULT from the quotes for the option reference_bom_balloon_text.

ok i tried that and everytime i try to put in a reference balloon the program shuts down. any ideas?

Unfortunately no, I don't have the problem you're seeing.

ok i removed default and then left a space between the quotes and it worked. yet another problem occured though. i closed the program and opened it again and that setting had changed back to default. is there a save status or something like that i need to click on to save the setting. i hit add/change and also apply but thats all i saw.

Try saving the drawing options to the drawing.dtl file or the activedrawing.dtl file and save the drawing.
