Read only dimension in model

Hi folks

In one of our models there is a dimension which says it is read only - how can we change it back to a regular dim?



- We tried Feature > Read Only > Clean - Pro/E says there are no read only features

- The only way to change the value is to Redefine the feature - then the dim shows up as white, and will not regenerate (to change back to yellow).



Any help will be appreciated.

It could be that the dimension you are trying to modify is a diameter dimension created from a standard hole (2000i2 or later). By default, Pro/E makes that a read-only dimension. You can set a (hidden?) config.pro option



HOLE_DIAMETER_OVERRIDE = YES



This will allow you to override the read-only attribute and modify the dimension.

The dimension is part of a sketched protrusion.
