I have been using wildfire 2 (machining) for mould making and I am yet to produce a part without problems and false cuts. Both the roughing and finishing have a mind of there own and will dig in somewhere. I didenter the same part onto a w/f 3 computer and there was no error so could it bew/f2 at fault? Anybody out there had simlar experience?

I'm a fairly new user but I hope I can help. The only times I've had trouble is when the accuracies don't match between part and NC assembly. We only use absolute accuracy and its set at .0002" Hope this helps.

Also, remember that Wildfire3 will automatically match the accuracies of the workpiece and ref model and nc assembly, so that is perhaps why the problem went away.
