Putting specific comps on 1 layer

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this.

Is there a way to automatically place a particular type of component on a specific layer?

Say I want to put all my bolts on a bolt layer. But, I have a totally random naming convention. So, could I use a common parameter value to pick out the bolts I want to be put on that layer?

You can set up a rule in your layer to look at a specific parameter. the rule box would look something like this:

Thanks Nate! I knew we needed to set up a rule, but how to set that up wasn't exactly obvious. We eventually figured it out. But thanks anyways. If I wasn't in a mad rush to figure that out, I certainly would have waited for an answer.
